This 17th century coaching inn serving delicious cuisine has been providing hospitality for over 400 years.
At the Kings Head Hotel you can enjoy real fires in a wood-burning stove, an adjoining conservatory and a cosy lounge area. A wide selection of wines, spirits and beers are available in the bar, including 5 cask ales. A delightful patio and walled garden have been newly refurbished so barbecues and informal gatherings can be enjoyed in summer.
Morning tea and coffee, lunches and evening meals are served in the elegant dining room. The dining room is also ideal for private parties, business meetings, buffets and small functions that can be individually catered for.

All children are welcome. One child under 3 years stays free of charge when using existing bedding. One child from 4 to 15 years is charged GBP 10.00 per night and person in an extra bed. Maximum capacity of extra beds in a room is 1. There is no capacity for cots in the room.
If cancelled up to 2 days before date of arrival, no fee will be charged. If cancelled later or in case of no-show, the total price of the reservation will be charged.

Six double rooms are available on the first floor of the main building. All rooms have been lovingly restored to give a clean fresh feel with some of the original character remaining.
The two twin rooms are located on the first floor. Both have views over the rear courtyards.
A newly built ground floor suite comprised of a double bedroom and a spacious living area with 2 comfortable sofas. This room also doubles up as the 2nd bedroom if required. The suite is ideal for longer stays as it has everything you need to self cater. It is particularly suitable for families or couples who require a little more space. It is ideal if you wish to bring your dog.
This room has been lovingly restored to give a clean, fresh feel, but much of its original character has been retained.
The traditional Kings dining room has an à la carte dinner menu served by candlelight every evening. It has been delicately decorated and showcases work from local artists. Chefs have a strong reputation for producing excellent food using only the best local ingredients.
Dukes bar and lounge is a friendly and laid-back bar with a fine selection of 5 cask ales, all of which have been given the Cask Marque certificate of excellence. The wine list is hand-picked and personally tested. You are sure to find something to suit your purse and palate.
The conservatory is a bright and airy addition to the building where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner. Continental in style, the conservatory overlooks the courtyard and provides a more informal setting.
